Mark has played an active role on the Board of Directors for several prominent restaurant companies. In that capacity, he has been directly involved in general corporate strategy, management and compensation matters, acquisitions, capital raising and the sale of a company.
LONE STAR STEAKHOUSE & SALOON, INC.
From 2001-2006, he served on the Board of Directors and the Corporate Governance Committee and acted as Chairman of the Compensation Committee of Lone Star Steakhouse & Saloon, Inc. (www.lonestarsteakhouse.com). He was a member of the Negotiating Committee which directed the sale of Lone Star to a private equity firm in 2006.
PASTA POMODORO, INC.
From 2000-2007, he served on the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee of Pasta Pomodoro, Inc. (www.pastapomodoro.com). He played an instrumental role in raising equity capital for the Company and in consummating Wendy’s strategic investment in the Company.
STIR CRAZY, INC.
From 2002-2004, he served on the Board of Directors of Stir Crazy, Inc. (www.stircrazy.com). He played an instrumental role in raising equity capital for the Company from Rosewood Capital and Northwood Ventures.
